About Me

I’m currently working as an IT manager in the UK. I’m not a teacher, but I believe that students have the best perspective on what makes studying easier.

I first got interested in study techniques when I was revising for a number of Microsoft exams as an adult. I quickly realised that I had made it through school and university without ever learning to revise effectively.

I started to apply theories from time management, mnemonics and project management. It took a number of exams, but eventually I had a reliable system for really effective studying.

There are a lot of good study tips out there already and I aim to cover the best of them, but hopefully you’ll find some new ideas here too. Not just hypothetical thoughts, but methods that I’ve actually used to pass exams.
